Soft Launch

Citizens & Societies's Community of practice for citizens (CoPc) is in a soft launch mode.

During this initial period, we will look at the various cancers that affect our societies and most importantly familiarize ourselves with the definitions we use in this community.

These new definitions come from a new management science called SOCIETALogy. (More on this new science below.) These new definitions clarify many of the words we often use, but which were never scientifically define before. This lack of scientific definitions is the main reason why we can't have constructive, positive and respectful dialogues (CPR), find solutions and implement best practices.

The community will officially launch when I have completed all the appropriate support material, mainly explainer videos, that I will use to explain the links between Social Order, Liberty and Freedom, which is the first step we need to take in order to improve our societies. Indeed, if we do not understand how to create social order while improving our liberties and our level of freedom, all our efforts are doomed.

Until C&S is officialially launched, we can use this initial section to start the process.

Below you will find a short list of some of the major problems that we need to tackle. SOCIETALogically speaking, these major problems can only be seen as cancers that plague our societies. You are invited to first learn about these issues, ask questions, share comments and then answer the question in the poll. (Please remember to familiarize yourself with the definitions we use in this community. It is important if we want to find solutions.)

Have we gone to far on the side of liberty? Can our liberty of expression be counterproductive?

Conclusion

These are some of the most important cancers that we need to contain and cure. Gradually, I will be posting four more topics. Once this is done, I will officially launch the community by tackling the first step that will help us achieve equilibrium together; creating a sustainable social order by understanding the link between social order and liberty.

Until then, please feel free to comment or ask questions on any of these first subjects.

Enjoy the dialogues!

PS. A note on our environmental problems. Some readers will have realized that one of the most urgent problems that we need to face concerns our environment. Indeed, I do agree that we have many problems that affect the climate, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the land we grow our food, etc. We will be able to discuss this subject, as well as many other subjects, when we start having discussion on the goal and objectives of our various departments, including the one that deals with our environment.

The more competent we are, the better our societies will be. Let's learn to make our societies better.

How to be read.

  1. Use our definitions
  2. Use simple words
  3. Use small sentences
  4. Share one idea per small paragraph.
